2022-01-07
All players must provide proof of full vaccination in order to enter the gyms we rent. Click into article for full return to play requirements. If you do not meet these requirements then you will be denied entry and can not play.
** Proof of vaccination will no longer be required to enter the facilities starting February 14th**
We will continue to provide updates as we receive them.
COVID - 19 Guidelines and Rules
All players must adhere to these guidelines. Team captains are in charge of making sure these guidelines and protocols are being followed. If there are any issues, the league will be putting the onus on the captains to correct the situation.
Please make sure your team members understand and are willing to follow these guidelines. Those who refuse are not welcome to play.
Screening
Captains will ask all players prior to each game if they have any symptoms and direct individuals to stay home if they do.
If you or any team member is experiencing any symptoms then you cannot play and must stay home.
Captains are responsible for ensuring this is enforced
Vaccine Requirement
All players will be required to show proof of full vaccination in order to enter the facilities we rent.
Proof of Vaccination
The following are acceptable forms of proof of full vaccination:
- Wallet cards received at time of immunization
- A printed copy of your MySaskHealthRecord vaccine certificate or a ‘screenshot’ of your vaccine certificate saved to your device
- An earlier version of your MySaskHealthRecord COVID-19 vaccine certificate
- A COVID-19 vaccine printout from Saskatchewan Health Authority Public Health
- QR code
- Official proof of vaccine documents from other provinces may be considered
Proof of Negative Test
Individuals who do not have proof of vaccination have the option of providing proof of a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen or polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test result from within the last 72 hours. This test is to be done at the expense of the individual.
Self-administered take-home rapid antigen tests (e.g. pictures of negative tests) will not be accepted.
ID Required
In addition to the proof of vaccination or negative test, photo ID will be required from anyone 18 and older. If you do not have ID then you will be denied entry.
If a player refuses to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test result, then they will be denied entry into the facility and their team will be charged with a default
Please ensure you have your id and proof of vaccination out and ready to show upon arrival to speed the process up.
Please be patient while we work through this and after a week or two it will become more routine. Get to know your coordinator and that will help speed up the process in the future.
Masking
In keeping with the Provincial Public Health Order, individuals do not require masks while participating in sports activities, for the duration of the sport or activity only, so long as they provide proof of vaccination.
